XAT Pattern will be divided into two parts. Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 will comprise of Verbal Logic & Reading Comprehension, Decision Making and Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation. Part 2 will include of General Knowledge Section. The total time limit of the XAT exam is 180 minutes, with 165 minutes for part 1 and 15 minutes for part 2. Only part 1 is considered while calculating the score and percentile in the XAT exam. Part 2 of the XAT exam is used in the further admission process. XAT FAQs

On the XAT exam day, a hard copy of admit card along with an original valid ID proof (active, which is not expired) must be carried. No other item or document is allowed in the XAT examination center.

At the time of XAT Registration, candidates are required to provide 3 city preference for the exam centers.

In XAT 2019, there was no essay writing section. Based on the last year pattern XAT 2020 will not have the essay writing section.
