XAT full form is Xavier Aptitude Test. XAT Exam is a computer-based aptitude test that is conducted by XLRI on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institute (XAMI) for admission to various colleges that come under the management association.

XAT exam pattern is divided into two parts. Total exam duration is of 180 minutes, of which 165 minutes are for Part 1 and 15 minutes are for Part 2. These sections appear in the similar order that is Part 1, followed by Part 2. All questions in Part 1 and Part 2 are of MCQ type.

XAT Exam Syllabus
Xavier Aptitude Test, XAT 2020 Exam test Pattern and Syllabus cover the topics from which questions are being asked in the XAT Exam. XAT exam is divided into two parts.
- Part 1 is of 165 minutes and covers the following:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: 26 Questions
- Decision Making: 21 Questions
- Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation: 27 Questions
- Part 2 is of 15 minutes and comprises of 25 General Knowledge Questions.
Only part 1 is used to calculate XAT percentile, and part 2 of the exam is used in the further stages of the admission process.
XAT exam test pattern and syllabus is unique as compared to other MBA exams in India. XAT exam has a different section “Decision Making”, which makes it more challenging. Also, there are two types of negative marking in the XAT exam. For each correct answer, +1 marks are awarded. For each incorrect answer -0.25 marks are deducted and also -0.10 are deducted per each wrong question left un-attempted. There is no negative marking in the General Knowledge Section.
XAT Exam Test Centers
The list of Xavier Aptitude Test, XAT exam cities centers 2020 will be released by XLRI, the exam conducting body of the XAT Exam along with XAT 2020 dates and timeline in August. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT Exam) is a national level management entrance exam conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, for admission to constituent institutes under Xavier Association of Management Institute (XAMI). XAT Exam 2020, will be conducted in 46 cities across India at various test centers. The Candidate is allowed to choose three preferred city from the 46 cities using a drop-down menu while filling the application form for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2020.

XAT Previous Year Question Paper
XAT or Xavier Aptitude Test Previous Year Question Paper and Answer Key in PDF format are an excellent source to practice real XAT exam questions. XAT Previous Year Question Paper and Answer Key help you to understand the XAT exam pattern over the years. Earlier XAT used to be in the Pen and Paper Mode, but from XAT 2018 onwards it is conducted in Online Mode. From the XAT 2019 onwards essay section of the exam was also removed. XAT exam is divided into two parts: Part 1 and Part 2.
Part 1 of the exam is comprised of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Decision Making & Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Interpretation. Part of the exam consists of General Knowledge Section. Only part 1 of the exam is used to calculate the XAT exam percentile. Part 2 of the exam is used in the further admission process. XAT Percentile Predictor and Score Calculator
The XAT 2020 Score Calculator and Percentile Predictor tool will help you gauge and predict your XAT 2020 performance by calculating the raw score and predicted percentile. You need to enter the total number of questions, attempted in each section along with maximum and minimum accuracy. The tool will calculate the raw score using the XAT 2020 marking scheme that is +1 for each correct question, with a negative marking of -0.25 for each wrong question along with the negative making of -0.10 for each question left un-attempted beyond eight questions. Negative marks for un-attempted questions will be deducted equally in each section.
XAT Exam Result
XAT Exam Result 2020: XLRI Jamshedpur will declare the result of XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 2020 Exam tentatively in the third week of January 2020. The XAT 2020 exam result will be announced in an online mode. Candidates can download their XAT exam result and scorecard from the XAT application portal. The XAT result score card will contain the percentage score in each section along with percentile in each section as well as the overall XAT percentile. As XAT exam result is declared, XLRI will release its XAT overall and the sectional cutoff for the Business Management Program and Human Resource Management Program. All other XAT score accepting institutes will release the cutoff or the result based on the XAT score.

XAT Admit Card
XAT Admit Card or Hall Ticket 2020, XLRI Jamshedpur, will release the XAT 2020 (Xavier Aptitude Test) admit card tentatively in the third week of December 2019. The admit card or hall ticket of the XAT Exam 2020 will be available only in online mode, and no hard copy will be mailed at the address of the XAT test takers. Download XAT admit card from the official XAT application portal. XAT test takers can download the XAT admit card 2020 by logging into their XAT Application portal after the release of XAT admit card in the third week of December.
