As once said by the former president of India late Dr. Kalam “Dreams aren’t what you see during sleep, dreams are what doesn’t let you sleep.”
If you want to something in your life, you have to start from somewhere. A life without ambition is like a boat stranded in the middle of the ocean. Dreaming big is the first step towards success. To have a goal in mind is necessary for being able to achieve something in life. If you don’t have that you cannot focus your energy and hence you cannot succeed, do what you love. If you want to be a writer, be a writer. If you want to be a painter, be a painter. Just know that the sky isn’t the limit. Keep dreaming and then work hard until that dream becomes your reality. Many dreams are killed by society. The fear of what people might say, what they might think, kills more dreams than anyone. But you should not worry about that. Whatever you want to do is your choice. Your dreams are your own, and no one else has got a say in it. Dreaming Big is the First Step to Success.

When you have a goal in mind, you know what you have to do to achieve it. You can derive your motivation from your goal. Your stubbornness to make your dream come alive defines your success. Dreaming big is important, but that isn’t going to win your battles. You have to work hard and do it yourself. Remember, dreaming is only the first step towards success. It is the lying foundation for success. After defining your goal, you should make a strategy for working towards it. You should prepare a time table or a routine to divide your time between things to use it more efficiently. Do whatever is necessary for achieving your goal. Don’t lose hope when you encounter any difficulty, instead face it head-on and be positive. You need to be optimistic if you want to achieve your goals. Don’t lose your motivation.
The future belongs to those who dream. Nothing extraordinary happens if you don’t go out of your comfort zone. To dream big is as vital as working hard to achieve it. In life, you will face a lot of obstacles, but your determination will carve the path leading you towards your goal. Let’s ask ourselves the question: Is simply existing the only meaning of our life? Is it only limited to that? Don’t we have anything more than that?
To live a monotonous life without having a big dream is boring and dull.
I have heard people say that they want to be successful in life and that they are working hard for it. But I never heard anyone mention their big dream or their big goal. They only want to be successful because everyone around wants money and luxury. They want to be successful because everyone around them is also doing the same. Everyone is blindly following this way of life like a flock of sheep. They have 9 to 5 jobs, and they are satisfied with it. They are yearning for a promotion or a pay raise while staying inside their comfort zone. They don’t have a dream besides having a decently paying job.
Martin Luther King was undoubtedly the most important black spokesperson during the civil war. What if he had never dreamt of ending racism in the United States? The scenario in America would be different today. It was because of his dream and his struggle to make it come true that the black community in America received their rights, and equality could be established.
Imagine that if you were Mohamed Ali. What if you had never dreamt about becoming the world champion? What if you hadn’t started from anywhere? You surely would never have become the best boxer in the world. To be successful, you need to work hard. If you don’t have a dream that you are striving for to make it your reality, you cannot be inspired to work hard. And without working hard, you cannot achieve anything in your life.
Many times people keep making fun of others just because they have big dreams.
No mountain is too high to climb, and no tide is too strong to make a sail. Everything is in our mind. We can achieve whatever we set our mind. For Example What about the Wright brothers? They dreamt of flying the human race like a bird and invented a plane. It is because of their dream that today we have airplanes. The urge to do something crazy like giving wings to humankind made the brothers inspired to build a plane. What if they had been normal like everyone else and content with the life that they had?
If you want to be successful in life, you need to get out of your comfort zone and start dreaming big. You need to be different from the rest of the crowd if you want to stand out. You have to be the master of your sea. You need to fight for your dreams. Once you have a dream, pour out your heart and soul out to make it your reality. Keep working until nothing is standing between you and your goal.
More than seventy years ago, in 1947, India was born. Few Indians now alive know how uncertain India’s future looked in 1947. The most prominent question then being asked was ‘Will India Survive?’ Now, seventy-one years down the road, that fearful query has been replaced by a far more hopeful one, namely, ‘Will India Become a Superpower?’
