SNAP Test Exam Eligibility and Criteria

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP 2019) Eligibility Criteria is divided into two major categories. The first one is the SNAP Eligibility criteria, and the second one is the eligibility criteria for each SNAP college. Some SNAP colleges like, SIMS Pune: Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies offering Master of Business Administration has 80% reservation for Defense category, i.e., candidates should be children/ward/spouse of Defense personnel or another case can be candidate should be an engineering graduate for admission to MBA Infrastructure Management at SCMHRD or MBA Operations Management at SIOM Nashik. Also, there are different cutoffs for each of the SNAP Institutes.

SNAP 2019 conducting authority, Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune has announced the SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria for appearing for the SNAP exam and also the eligibility criteria for each of the 15 Institutes under SNAP umbrella.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2019 is the national level MBA exam entrance test for MBA admission for the batch 2020-22 to 15 premier Symbiosis Institutes across India majorly at Pune and Bangalore. The institutes under SNAP umbrella award MBA degree of Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune.

Apart from ensuring that candidate is eligible for giving SNAP 2019 exam, the candidates must also check the Institute Level Eligibility Criteria for their preferred institute which can be different from the SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2019.

SNAP Exam Eligibility Criteria 2019

Eligibility criteria for appearing for the SNAP 2019 exam is:

  • General or open category candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent.
  • Reserved category candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks or equivalent in the graduation degree.
  • Candidates appearing in final year examination are also eligible provided they have met the eligibility criteria at the time of admission process.
  • There is no age limit to apply for SNAP 2019 exam.
  • Foreign Nationals/ PIO/ OCI/ NRI are also eligible to appear for the SNAP exam provided they have obtained an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Students having backlogs/compartment in their final results are not eligible for admission to institutes under SNAP 2019 exam.

SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Foreign University Candidates

 SNAP 2019 exam eligibility for a foreign candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University is that the candidate must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any program of SIU. After the Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues an equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications. SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria for SNAP accepting Colleges

SNAP FAQs

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP 2019) entrance test will be conducted in online mode format at various centers across India.

The entry for SNAP Exam will be allowed from 12:30 PM. However, no candidate is allowed to enter in the exam center after 01:30 P.M.

No, the candidate is not allowed to change the preferred city or exam center once payment is completed. No such requests will be considered by SNAP conducting authorities.
