Candidates will visit the three institutions offering Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) that are Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT K), and Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM C). Each of the three notable institutes will focus on a separate and their specialized field of business analytics, following their expertise. While coursework at Indian Insititute of Management Calcutta (IIM C) will focus on the importance of analytics in functional and business areas, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) will impart its expertise in statistical and machine learning theories for business analytics, and faculty at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur will help graduates with the technical aspects of business analytics. In addition to the study at 3 top institutes, the students will do an internship of six months duration on a business analytics project in a business organization for gaining practical expertise. The Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) program is a residential program.

PGDBA program is jointly offered Business Analytics program by IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, and Indian Statistical Institute. Fee for the 2-year PGDBA program for the 2019-21 batch is Rs 20 lakhs. The fee will include tuition fee, on-campus lodging, books, study materials, examination materials, and laboratory charges, among others. PGDBA program fee will not cover food-related expenses and any travel or logistics expenses that the students may incur in Semester 4 when they visit any industrial location.
A written test will be held on tentatively on February 16, 2020, and candidates shortlisted after the written test will be called for personal interviews to be held around last week of March. The final offer would be made based on performance in the written test and the personal interview. Due consideration will also be given to work experience and academic standing. Cities for written test and personal interviews are Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Chennai.
